I too am really disappointed at the BBC's decision to arbitrarily delete the complementary medicine section. Alternative healing is a massive field, and some therapies will work for some people but not for others and therefore it is important for the general public to have reliable information on as many therapies as possible.

At a time when conventional medicine is finally accepting the efficacy of several complementary therapies, and is prescribing acupuncture and aromatherapy for example on the NHS. It seems rather short sighted of the BBC's 'powers that be' to marginalise the alternative therapy scene.

Practitioners of alternative therapies offer help and healing to all who approach them, but without the recognition of figureheads like the BBC fewer people will know how to access this help.
